About a listed stream, its content, or your rights
About the app
For broadcasters and rights holders. This app helps people find publicly available YouTube live streams on a map and plays them through YouTube's official player. We do not copy, re-broadcast, or store any video.
We accept removal requests regardless of the reason given. We review removal requests and take action to stop listing the stream. You do not need to install the app.
Please have the video URL ready — it looks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=…. We need it to identify the stream, and it is not filled in for you when you open the form from this page.
Providing a reply address is optional. If provided, your reply address is used when we need to respond or ask for clarification. How we handle what you submit through these forms is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is operated by an individual and does not provide continuous monitoring or immediate replies or action. Reviewing and handling inquiries may take time. Removal is delivered through updates to the published data, so update intervals and device caches can delay its appearance. Immediate removal from every device is not guaranteed.
We also accept reports from people whose image or home appears in a stream. If a rights or privacy concern cannot yet be resolved, we stop listing the stream first and then investigate. Removing a listing from the App does not delete the video from YouTube.
Frequently asked questions
A stream will not play
What we list are live streams broadcast by third parties. A stream can become unavailable because it ended or because its broadcaster made it private.
The Service checks stream availability regularly and removes streams that can no longer be watched. There is a delay before this is reflected. Please try again after a while.
If no camera plays at all, check your network connection and restart the app. If that does not help, please contact us.
There is a limit on how many you can save
The free version limits how many cameras and places you can save. LiveRuby Pro is a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase. It raises how many cameras and places you can save, and lets Random pick from live cameras around the world.
Every live camera we list remains viewable for free. Purchasing does not unlock additional cameras.
A location on the map looks wrong
Locations are approximate and may not match the actual installation site. Some locations are inferred from the stream's title using coordinates from a public place-name database.
The error is larger in these cases:
- Cameras outside Japan. Venue-level place data is sparse, so a camera may be placed at the centre of a city
- Cameras filming a distant view from a rooftop. What is filmed and where the camera sits are different places
Several cameras may appear at one point where their locations could not be narrowed down. Overlapping positions may also be shifted nearby to help distinguish them on the map.
If you notice a clear error, please tell us through the content form ("Wrong Location"). We review reports and consider appropriate corrections.
I am worried about data usage
Playing live video consumes a large amount of data. On metered plans this can result in high charges, and data charges are borne by you.
The App cannot select the playback quality. Playback is performed by the source's official player, and quality is determined by that player and your connection.
When playback starts on a metered connection or in Low Data Mode, the App provides a notice once per app launch (changeable in Settings). It does not pause playback to ask for confirmation. Wi-Fi is recommended.

Send requests through the app support form. Before listing a stream we verify that its owner has enabled embedded playback, so we cannot honor every request.
