About a listed stream, its content, or your rights
About the app
For broadcasters and rights holders. This app helps people find publicly available YouTube live streams on a map and plays them through YouTube's official player. We do not copy, re-broadcast, or store any video.
We accept removal requests regardless of the reason given. We stop showing the stream as soon as we can confirm it. You do not need to install the app.
Please have the video URL ready — it looks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=…. We need it to identify the stream, and it is not filled in for you when you open the form from this page.
Providing a reply address is optional. We reply when you give us one. How we handle what you submit through these forms is described in the Privacy Policy.
Frequently asked questions
A stream will not play
What we list are live streams broadcast by third parties. A stream can become unavailable because it ended or because its broadcaster made it private.
The Service checks stream availability regularly and removes streams that can no longer be watched. There is a delay before this is reflected. Please try again after a while.
If no camera plays at all, check your network connection and restart the app. If that does not help, please contact us.
There is a limit on favorites
The free version limits how many cameras you can add to favorites. LiveAtlas Pro (a one-time purchase) removes that limit.
Every live camera we list remains viewable for free. Purchasing does not unlock additional cameras.
A location on the map looks wrong
Locations are approximate, not accurate. We infer a place name from the stream's title and apply coordinates from a public place-name database.
The error is larger in these cases:
- Cameras outside Japan. Venue-level place data is sparse, so a camera may be placed at the centre of a city
- Cameras filming a distant view from a rooftop. What is filmed and where the camera sits are different places
Several cameras may also appear stacked at one point, where we could not narrow the location down.
If you notice a clear error, please tell us through the app support form. We correct them as we go.
I am worried about data usage
Playing live video consumes a large amount of data. On metered plans this can result in high charges, and data charges are borne by you.
The App cannot select the playback quality. Playback is performed by the source's official player, and quality is determined by that player and your connection.
When a metered connection or Low Data Mode is detected, the App asks before starting playback (changeable in Settings). Wi-Fi is recommended.
Please add a camera
Send requests through the app support form. Before listing a stream we verify that its owner has enabled embedded playback, so we cannot honor every request.
